After how much I loved knitting (and love wearing) my Simple Stripe Pullover, I decided to knit another favorite basic sweater pattern using the same yarn.
Pattern
This is my second time knitting the No Frills Sweater by PetiteKnit (see a post of my first one here). It's a very straightforward pattern with nice short row shaping around the neck and (as shown by the thousands of people who have knit it on Ravelry and instagram) consistently produces a perfect basic raglan sweater. You can find my Ravelry project page here.
Yarn
I once again used Purl Soho's Cashmere Merino Bloom. It's one of the softest yarns I've ever used and is so great to work with. A little more about it here.
Knitting
Knitting a pattern for a second time definitely helped me move through it quicker. It's a lot of stockinette so it's not the most exciting knit, but it is perfect for road trips, plane rides, or watching TV.
Final Thoughts
If you're looking for a beginner-friendly wardrobe-staple sweater, knit this one!!
